Hi all, I've been thinking about using something like RealVNC on our two Myriad PCs to remotely control them. I have thought about Microsoft's own RDP, but as far as I can tell, you need to log into the computer as another user, and therefore don't get to see what is on screen. I've used RealVNC in the past, on a Myriad setup running Myriad 2 (IIRC), and on a 100baseT network and it was too much for the system, resulting in the audio being played out being interrupted. Just wondering now, about 5 years later, whether things would have improved enough. The network is a gigabit network with two Windows 7 machines running Myriad 3.6. |
