Andy...
I occasionally get the same message pop up our rack PC that runs Myriad overnight. It is a network problem, usually because the network card as gone to sleep or, in my case, when the network switch polls to check the ports when the Myriad PC in question is 'idle'.
Check the network card(s) are setup to run at full speed duplex at all times, turn off any sleep options this will help greatly and make sure too that any screen savers, and power saving options are switch off so the PC(s) remain alert 24/7/365!
Also, how are you sharing the drives on the PC?
Are you setting up a shared folder on the main PC and them mapping it to, as an example 'M:/' on the remote, or are you using the convention preferred by PSqaured? The former is prone to failing if the other PC is switched off and you'd then have to reboot. The latter is persistent and keeps trying until it makes a connection... in theory.
This still requires sharing a drive on the main PC and 'mapping' it only in the Myriad software in this way for each principle folder; like the following although use your own settings here... \\myriad-01\psquared\directory, \\myriad-01/psquared\myriad, and \\myriad-01\psquared\audiowall. This is a far more robust way of mapping as it doesn't require a drive letter and, the Myriad software will always find the folder with the required data.
One final thing... and it's only sprung to mind while typing this, I have noted that on occasions when setting up a new instance of Myriad and pointing the date to the correct folders on the server PC (Myriad-01) all is well. However, when you open the instance of Myriad you just installed, it struggles to find the 'directory'. Check the 'Directory Setting' in Myriad under the setting tab and see what location it is looking to find this directory. I have experienced it looking of a local instance on the PC (i.e C:\psquared\directory), if it is then change it to where it should be looking for the shared directory (i.e. \\myriad-01\psquared\directory). Why it does this I don't know but it has occured on a couple of times in the past for me.
I hope this helps.
Roger.
