Can anyone explain what this means ?
we get this every now and then when we tried to add a new contact or edit a current contact.
Myriad V4 current version.

There was a problem saving the Preferences to the Directory and the errors description was reported as:

"ODBC - -  delete on a linked table '???' failed."

This is something that I cannot reproduce on the same system, when creating or editing contacts.

Hi Paul,

that would appear to be a message about writing information back to a table in the database, so check to see if anything is interrupting the network traffic.
Have you added a new machine recently?
Is everything on the same network? Office and studios?
Try to put the playout stuff on a separate network and a pc with 2 network cards which can act as the bridge between two networks.
That way you'll still be able to run AutoTrack and Advert Manager on an office machine, and keep the playout traffic as robust as possible.

A full reboot fixes the issue, this is the 2nd time we've had it happen, always just after our monthly re-licence.

We will keep you updated !
Our guy will, who posted above, couldn't re-create this as we'd already rebooted the whole system;-)
