Sadly one of the few downsides to using a SQL Server is that its performance is often slower like for like that with Access - after all, the request has to go to the server, be processed, records retrieved, serialised and then sent back, rather than with Access where once it knows what data it needs it just grabs it straight from the database. SQL Does auto-tune itself though so the more you use it the faster it will get, though a lot of this depends on how much memory you have on the SQL server, and for that matter how much of that Memory SQL is allowed to use! That all said though, if you do have a lot of rules or AutoTrack is doing a specialist show that perhaps is set to draw from a lot of categories rather than a single category then you can certainly see AutoTrack working hard and therefore taking a long time. I'd like to try out your v4 Databases here - can you raise a Support Ticket with support@psquared.net and then send us a copy of your SQL Database using the Database Support File Creator ( http://www.psquared.net/technical-support/drivers-utilities/p-squared-utilities.aspx#DBSupFileCreator) - please make sure you run this on the SQL Server itself as it cannot access the databases on a remote server.
