That's good news, we will try the latest OCP as that runs on our audio server.

As longs as it's on a computer all on it's own then yes you can, but you can't mix and match releases of software on the same PC - e.g. Myriad Playout v4.0.18 and OCP v4.0.21 on the same computer -- this wont work.

We'll be installing the safest version, but could we run with the beta OCP of V4?

Paul - it won't go Full Release by next week as that's a bit too brisk for testing, but the more feedback we get the quicker we can make that call!

Of course, if you still have a fully working v3 system, then there's nothing to stop you testing out the new release and if it all goes wrong flip back to v3.6!

(But don't leave testing that theory until Friday as we'll be closed for the bank holiday!)

Hi All,

Good news - OCP has been re-released now with the ability to post Social Media Messages to Facebook Walls OR to pages - http://forum.psquared.net/FindPost7692.aspx

Cheers!

Yes Gavin is spot on - v4.0.21 includes support for posting Now Playing information to specific pages or to walls whichever you prefer - however this is only for "Now Playing" information - the manual Social Post button or from the Log is still only direct to Walls. This is something we're still working on and will hopefully have some news soon!

Hi Paul,

From what I have discovered in trying to get this setup you should be fine.

The issue I had was that I setup the HotHitsUK Facebook page as a dedicated account rather than a page from my personal account. This meant that our Facebook account does not have a WALL. Since the Facebook poster plugin was origianlly desinged to only post to WALLs it didn't work for us.

P Squared have since updated OCP so that you can now post to a page or a wall although it still doesn't work from the log; although the latest release 4.21 should fix this, so I'm told.

Hope this helps.

Gavin

We have our face book page setup via one of our members and certain people have been made admin,
I think that we won't be able to configure this in V4 due to the way we have our face book setup.
Twitter will be fine as that is a dedicated station account.

any one agree with me ???
