Hi Everyone,
Myriad V3 - Voice Tracking
We seem to be having sporadic occasions of RVT links being chopped off at the end.
There appears no pattern but I did wonder if Presenters were too handy with the trigger but this isn't always the case.
Has anyone got a cure for this as it has happened with different people but not others...
Baffled!

Thanks everyone.

Hi Juan,

it's quite quiet over here on the old Forum, best place to goto is https://www.facebook.com/groups/Myriad5/?ref=group_header our Facebook group.

Bottom line is we tracked it down to the way some Internet routers were transiting the data, which is why it was happening for some and not others. We implemented a fix in v4 and v5 has been completely re-written to avoid it all together.

For v3 the only work around is to leave a couple of seconds of silence at the end of the link, but this will impact on when the volume duck is removed on the incoming song.

OK, what is baffling is that it happens to Jock 'A' occasionally when on the same kit that works fine most of the time.

I will probably ring you about upgrade options at some point... Although generally V3 is performing very well for us so to justify outlay is hard at the moment.
