Now that Twitter has increased the tweets to 280 characters is there a way of amending the amount of characters in Myriad News V4 which is set at 140

It would be good if you could explain how to change or if an update to the software can be done.

Thanks for your post, we are aware of this change and this will require some re-coding of the different software which interacts with the Twitter API. 
The 140 limit was hard coded in a lot of places (to stop us accidentally sending more text than was allowed and triuncating your message), because this was the unique point of Twitter.
