We on occasion duplicate recorded shows over the 2 services we broadcast.  To do this the current router is launched with a command switch by a comand in the log e.g. audiorouter.exe /1=RRAuto 2=RRAuto wait=1

We will soon be switching our routing over to Axia Pathfinder and wondering how to have Myriad switch routes.  Has anyone done this before, I'm thinking a generic protocol translator may be required.

Any advice would be fab.

Got this working.  Myriad can send a TCP/P string to a port which Pathfinder has a generic protocol translator listening on.  Then it's just create a stack event for whatever string you receive :-)

Hi Craig,

How did you get Myriad to send a TCP/IP sting to a port? :-)

Cheers

James

Hi James,

Are you running V4 or V5?  It's not currently possible in V5, if I keep pestering Peter it may get added in :-)

As for V4 save this as a .cm3 file and change the IP:port the last line is the text passed remember and leave a space on the end.

--copy below--
CommandType="3" LeaveActive="0" UseExisting="0"
IPAddress="192.168.153.13" IPPort="10303" IPProtocol="0"
RR=RRAuto
--stop copy above--
