Hi Jonathan,
as a guess, I suspect someone has been into the settings and changed this terminal to an "Admin" license. So it can see and manipulate the logs, but is unable to play them back.
Goto Myriad Configuration>Global Settings>License and see what license type has been assigned (from memory as I don't have access to v2, there should be a green column with the indicator in).
