Hi All,

Without changing any settings between v3 and v4, I am now finding an inordinate amount of unscheduled songs.

I'm currently scheduling for the next week and I'm finding whole hours where it can't find anything suitable (Current count 650 unscheduled tracks and it's still got a whole day to go).

What is happening please and where should I be looking to find out why?

Andy

Hi Andy,

Have a look at the Scheduled Log inside Autotrack, there you highlight the "Unscheduled" Item and then click on the "Tested" button, this will show you all the items tested and rejected for the log position.

Either you will see the rule that is causing the problems, or you are not allowed to search far enough into the category.

Hi David,

The rule which it's failing on is something like Forced Style. In the clock, I have CORE for the style of all overnight songs.

Hi Andy,

Ok so what it probably means (without looking directly at your database), is that you don't have enough songs with that style in your database, do a song search and add more to your "Core" style - or look in your clocks and relax your requirement for that style to be forced in.

For a more in depth analysis, you'll need to open a support ticket.

Hi All,

I know there was an issue to do with 'deleted style' appearing either in the cards or in the clocks so make sure it is not trying to pull songs from a style that doesn't exist. This seemed to only happen when going from v3 to v4.

worth a look....

Hi David and Matt,

There are around 6,500 songs in the CORE category. Most of them have a Style or multiple styles associated, which is what is forced in the clock, "CORE and style of 50s, 60's, 70's etc".

I've noticed however, there's a new option on the Show Rules page, where Styles are currently all showing '0'. This seems new, does this override anything forced in the clock perhaps?

Hi Andy,

Under the show rules you need to have under the styles at least 1 in the min column for it to choose from there yes. Like David says open the log in autotrack and go to tested and see which rules it is failing on which will help to diagnose the issue.
