We are using the myriad suite at our student station and have used the software without major problems until now. What is happening is every so often it hangs and crashes out for no reason - This can happen at any time day or night and the latest crash was this morning at 05:35am I have attached some screen shots from event viewer and some pics of how it is found but we are really struggling to work out what may be causing this.

We have reformatted the drive and reinstalled windows 7 along with all the myriad software again but still the problem persists. The latest crash this morning has created a further issue as the main myriad program hangs on start up as its looking for the database, again I have attached a screen shot of this.

The database is still present and available its just baffled us as to what could be the issue and more importantly how to sort it. Just wondered if anyone else has had these problems in the past. Thanks.

Have you tried a compact/repair of the Station Database and the P Squared Directory database?

You can use the Emergency Recovery Utility, at Start->Programs->P Squared Myriad->Tools.

I did repair the database and it was still the same however when I did it the second time it seems to be working - so far so good its gone a full day without any issues.

What happens to the database that makes myriad trip up, touching wood. Thanks.

I usually compress/repair our database on a yearly basis as I've had this type of crash before.
