Hi All.

I've just set up OCP to send the whats playing info to our Shoutcast encoder and onto our website. It's all working fine apart from I think Ihaven't set the script up correctly. Instead of saying now playing (Title) by (Artist). It's all in one sentence if that makes sense.

The script I'm using is: Now Playing: <OCP_NOW_ITEMNAME><OCP_NOW_ARTISTS>

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You need:

Now Playing: <OCP_NOW_ITEMNAME> by <OCP_NOW_ARTISTS>

Hi Craig.

Unfortunately that script doesn't seem to be working earlier. The website I'm using it on is here:

My encoder settings are set to:

<OCP_NOW_ARTIST1NAME> - <OCP_NOW_ITEMNAME>

With Artist and title swapped round.  Also to stop SAE appearing in your stream unclick "send approaching end" information in Myriad OCP settings.

I think you may have unchecked the wrong option in that case - can you make sure in Station Database Settings>On-Air tab that you have the option to "Send Now Playing information for" "Song Log items" turned on and all the optoins under "Send Approaching end information" turned off.

Don't forget that you need to do this on the On-Air PC to get it work first time.

If you're still having trouble can you post a screen shot of that Settings tab so we can see what options you've selected?

Hi,

In your myriad settings :

put the ip number of the computer that your ocp is sitting on and use port 1

number next item to send 1

we have all ticked apart from approaching end

on your ocp service settings untick update encoders and tick update outputs if show presenter changes and tick update outputs if show title changes

myriad information tab make sure listen for connection on port 1

on your output on your ocp

if using encoder put the encoder ip number ours here at BTR is 127.0.0.1:8001

Hope that helps if you need any more info please contact me station.manager@baytrustradio.org.uk

Hi all.

Thanks for your help so far. I've literally tried everything and still no luck. What makes it even more strange is the fact that it worked perfectly before and then suddenly stopped.
