Hi guys,

Wondering what soundcards you use and/or recomend for a Myriad setup with 4 seperate Stereo cart outs.

We're currently using an Echo Gina 24 in our main studio and are wishing to set up a secondary studio and want to shop around for a good price on a second soundcard for that setup.

Cheers

Andy

I have just listed on ebay an Echo Gina 20 card if you are interested - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270821349554

If your machine has PCIe slots then you could look at the ESI 1010e PCIe card with external 19" 1u rack unit. Have a search for it. Studiospares do them for £188.

Hi,

Caution, we have not tried that specific card but have tried several other ESI range cards and none have been suitable for Myriad as they do not represent themselves as individual sound devices per channel. If someone has had sucess with this card then please let us know.

We at Erewash Sound are running an ESI 1010 card with the external 19" rack unit and it functions fine. Myriad can fade the individual players without effecting the others and we have no issues with it.
