Not so much of a fault as something to watch out for.
Yesterday we had a few extra vt'd hours ad you'd expect as it was bank holiday monday,
2 studios were being used for inhouse VT,

no problems yet, both presenters were voice tracking at the same time.
RVT user logs in and rvt must have chosen the same cart to record into at the exact same time as one of the other 2 in house vt's !

to cut a long story short 1 vt from the RVT got overwritten by one of the in house Vt'ers !

I always check all VT's, before they go to air, hence why I noticed.


probably just a fluke that this happened as there were a total of 60 Vt's recorded and only 1 error.

SO, it's perhaps not a good idea to have more than 1 person vt'ing at once....

This had been sorted ages ago you need to set up different carts for RVT users goto station database/hooks/seg and you can set a range of carts for RVTers in there.

Ah didnt realise that !
Ive got them set to the same cart range, I'll look into it next time I have 5 mins free, thanks for the help!
