We have a couple of "Donut" adverts which require the presenter to do a live read during them, such as this week playing live the band.....etc.

I have been putting this information in the notes section on each cart and it then appears in the notes window for them to read:

problem 1, i have to manually update EVERY myriad.
2nd problem: I have to change the info everytime it comes round in the schedule....

I think this info neds to be enterd into advert manager each week rather than the cart itself.
just thought you may like to know.

Have tried what I said above and it has confirmed that entering info into the cart itself is pointless, it only take its info from the advert manager notes.
Maybe the note section should be made unavailable for adverts, so that no-one does this.

its just a very handy way to add notes quickly with anyone having access, rather than an admin having to re-enter new notes then saving and rescheduling all the adverts.

Hi Paul,

If you don't enter ANY notes into the Advert in the Advert Manager, then the Log Notes window in Myriad should read the notes from the cart instead (as it always defaults to the showing the Cart Notes UNLESS the scheduler (AutoTrack or Advert Manager or third party scheduler) pushes notes directly onto the Log item.

If this isn't the case then can you raise it as a support item with us and send us over a Support File from within Advert Manager containing the Station Database and also one of the affected carts as well?

I'll try this soon, I think its becasue I always refresh the carts on the ad wall, normally when a few ads go out of date I move the ads to tidy up the wall,
then refresh and it obviously stores the old info...... I'll keep you updated !
