Hi Paul. That's an interesting problem. When the output turns on unexpectedly, have you tried checking in the Myriad Hardware Manager to see if the tickbox for the output has become mysteriously ticked? If it has, just click on the tick box and it should turn off the output. You then just need to trace whats turning the output on. Good Luck!

Hi Einstein ! I spoke to Andrew aty P Squared and he says they are aware of the issue, it effects windows 10 users and command 17 on the card.
He recommended trying 18,19,20 I tried 18 to begin with and it works fine, with the exception of every now and then it shut off the news early.
Sometimes by a few seconds, sometimes after a few seconds.

We are waiting for a driver update from Advantech/Broadcast Radio.
Hopefully this will allow us to go back to 17 and fix the issue.

Just a quick update on this, Not heard anything from P Squared....
However we have found that if you click suggest on a song when the box is open it closes the box feed straight away !

Looking forward to the driver updates soon if at all possible ;-)

Hi All,
Just to keep you all up to date on this, Advantech have confirmed it's a bug in their firmware, but they thought that they had already fixed it with a firmware update to the USB-4750 - however we've now proved that it definitely still occurs even in their own test applications!  Andrew here has been working with them almost every other day to hammer home to them just how important it is to get this solved, and we think they've finally gotten the message!

We heard back from them late last week (Friday to be precise) that they were now attempting to get hold of a certain chipset based motherboard to try and recreate it further - as soon as we know more we shall report back Smile

Hi All,

Just to keep you updated on this - we're just heard back from the R&D team at Advantech and they have now finally found the root cause of the issue! They are now working on solutions - both short and longer term - so it sounds like it may be a multi step fix. As soon as we know more we'll post straight away.

Cheers,
