Hi all,
A lowly v3 user here Smile
We're taking a number of new presenters on who are going to doing stuff remotely using RVT. Obviously, we trust them completely and they've signed disclaimers, but for safety, is there anyway to restrict what hours in the log a user can record into using RVT? Or is the case that once they have the remotely edit log flag enabled they can edit anything? Call it paranoia in case one goes rogue!!

Cheers!

Hi Kavanagh21,

If you have given remote access to the log, then the user has complete access.

The thought process is that if you need them to cover someone else's show, or they need to react to a breaking news event - if they don't have rights outside of their show time then they cannot help you.

So having the disclaimers in place is good, and the history log on Remote Edit Server will show you what was done by whom and when.
