Hi Paul,

if you have Autotrack Pro (which thinking about, if you are talking Types then you must be talking about Pro) you can do mass changes.

In the Song Search window, make sure you are looking at the advanced settings, Search for the songs you want to change, Highlight them in the list then click on the 11th icon (hand with a pen on a bit of paper)  that will bring up the mass changer, you can then tick the items you want to change and these will be reflected onto all of the items you selected in the list.

You can also do mass changes for Links as well.

If you mean assign Types then yes, there is the Mass Change button on the toolbar of the search songs/links window, which can be used to set most properties to the selected items in the search results in one fell swoop.

is it possible to bulk add types ?

we have a category called Christmas and it would be simple to add the type to them all in one go.

Is this possible in Autotrak V4.0.21
