Hi Paul, Not a bug, but certainly I can see why it's behaviour can seem a little odd! When you drag a cart into the log, the Content Type is looked at and if possible Myriad tries to add the item as a suitable Log Item Type - in this case it added the cart as an Advert. In terms of Ad Breaks, there isn't really such a thing in the guts of Myriad - just one or more adverts in a row that all share the same Reference Time. When you first schedule in AutoTrack, a single advert is added to the log which is marked as unscheduled - although it is shown as an unscheduled break so us humans can make more sense of what it's there for! In this case, by dragging that item into the log it was created as an advert which the Ad Manager (AM) sees as "one or more adverts in a row" so sees it as an ad break - and being fair, it's an advert in the log breaking up the songs, so it's pretty correct However, this is where the behaviour seems odd - because the AM sees that as an Ad Break, when you remove ads from that hour it will mark it as "unscheduled" along with all the other breaks. (If AM sees more than one ad in a break it actually removes items 2 onwards and then marks the 1st one as unscheduled so as to leave just that single unscheduled advert slot in the log). AM doesn't know that the advert was manually added vs added by another method so treats all "breaks" the same and removes them all. So your solution is exactly the correct one - change the content type to be promo and then it won't add as a ad break causing the AM to get overexcited. Cheers,
