Thanks for this...

Yeah we have discovered by fluke how to do it.

So we have carts in certain categories.

And if we tell auto track to move a cart into another category 'without review' it will ask us to review that cart anyways because it already exists somewhere.
We simply remove the link number and select the additional category > click ok.

Then that cart exists in two locations in Auto Track

It depends on where you are categorising the Audio.

If you are using the Categories in Myriad (SmoothEdit) the cart can only be listed in one category - this is used for Instant Track our simple scheduler built into Myriad for specific tasks.

If you are using AutoTrack for scheduling, then you can create multiple song cards (in different categories) which all point back to the same cart.
HOWEVER if you have the option turned on to "delete audio as well as song cards", when you delete one of those - it will delete the cart, leaving the other song cards still in the song decks. If you then fill the cart with new audio, those orphaned song cards may still be scheduled, and play the "wrong" audio - as the log will have the information from the song card, Myriad will play the Cart Number.

Myriad AutoTrack Pro v4 has the option to define the cart in the following ways:

Primary Category
Alternate Category
Type
Gender
Era
(Multiple) Styles
(5) Definable Start Characteristics - tempo / mood / etc
(5) Definable End Characteristics - tempo / mood / etc

In V3, you cannot have a song in more than 1 category, you have to duplicate the cart on the audiowall to do this.

Im 99% sure of this ;-)

We have Auto Track V3.
We have various Link and song Categories and for some carts we need to have in more than one Category.

We cant seem to do this Sad there is now duplicate button or similar.

When we open the 'Edit info' tab on a imported deck we can selected the Category but only per cart.

Help Please

Thanks, Ben
