Hi All, One of the areas that we often find presents the most headaches for users is when Myriad is running across a Local Area Network - because it's often being installed onto an existing network that works fine for office files, people often find that Myriad is either sluggish or sometimes just seems to grind to a halt before carrying on exactly where it left off. To try and help understand how to get the best from Myriad in such an environment we've put together a document that outlines the best practices, as well as the minimum requirements for running Myriad on a network. If a network doesn't meet those minimum requirements then it's highly likely that Myriad will not sound as slick as you would normally expect, and it also means that we can't provide support for such configurations. Of course, because every network is different it's likely that you may have some or more components that don't match these minimum requirements and your Myriad is running just fine - in this case then there's no problem of course, but if you do start to experience performance issues then it's very likely that the first thing Tech Support might ask you to do is correct those areas first. To have a read of the document please visit http://www.psquared.net/technical-support/network-requirements.aspxAs always, any useful comments or other real-world experiences are welcome, so please post them right here!
