Hi,

I have a client who is saying that in v3 when you right clicked and converted a log item into a voicelink it would automatically segue it over the intro of the song.

Now when he does it in v4 it doesn't place it over the top of the next song automatically.

Any ideas if this is a change in v4 or a setting he needs to check?

cheers - M

Just tested on Myriad v3.6.6, either way of selecting from the contextual menu "Convert Log item to triple SegEdit - e.g. Swept Voice link" or "Change Log Item's Ending" -> "Convert to Triple SegEdit", does not result in the middle item being put over the intro of the song.

Unless the item was already marked as a 'sweeper' link in the database, i.e. it would already sweep into the intro without any editing, then it does show up lined up over the intro in the triple seg edit - which it doesn't in 'normal' two item 'segedit' mode.

Can't help on if the latter behaviour is different in v4, and if so if this is a 'design feature' or is a setting that can be changed.
