We used to use these Darla cards with Myriad 2, and could record just fine.

Using them in Myriad 3.6, and we find that the audio somehow "interacts" with the first output (I would guess that, somehow, the input is being looped back out of the first output)

Obviously, the drivers are different (Win 98 vs Win XP)... is this something that someone else has seen? What's the fix? There's seems to be very little you can set on the "control panel".

Hi Paul,

I think that the driver you are using for the card is causing the problem here, i recommend uninstalling it and after rebooting the machine installing the relevant driver from our tested driver library:

Hardware Drivers

After installing the driver you will need to turn off sync wave devices in the echo console as this will cause problems if the box is left checked.

Hope this helps,

JM

An additional thing to check is that on some soundcards the LineIn is un-muted by default to the 1-2 Output - if you have a look on the Echo Console you should see the Analog line-ins on the "output" mixer, and be able to "mute" them from going through to each output pair.
