Hello i'm new here and wondered if someone could help???

i'm guessing my issue is likely to be a setting/option problem, but unfortunately i'm unable to resolve.

Whenever we load the carts from the audio wall the only way we can get the carts to play is by pressing play on all carts i.e press play on cart one nothing happens, press play on cart two still nothing happens press play on the third and all carts begin playing(we only use three carts) this is the same scenario if we only use two carts

obviously we can istan carts and the pad however the lecture in charge wants the student to use carts direct from the audio wall

any assistance on this mater would be gratefully received    Wow

Cheers, Leon.

It is possible that your Myriad Audio Settings have been incorrectly inputted. Also there is a possibility that this is also a soundcard setting issue. That's certainly where I would start.

If you are using a Gina card then I would check for 'sync wave devices' and make sure it is not selected as this sometimes used to result in this problem.

Concur with Matt - classic symptoms of "linked devices" - if you're using Echo Darla or Gina cards (anyone still using Darla 24's or just me?) then their control panel "sync wave devices" options needs turning off.

Other "multitrack" soundcards have similar functions that do similar to make the device work for "surround sound" (where you want all output starting the same time) as opposed to working as "independent" stereo outputs.

Let us know what soundcard you are using and someone will be sure to point you in the right direction.
