Hi Nick,

Also, you should avoid opening any ports directly from the outside world direct to your Myriad system as the security level is very low on those ports and some malicious could 'takeover' your Myriad playout and start firing off audio etc. The most 'official' way to do it is to VPN in to your network then connect to your Myriad system over that VPN link just as if you were then on the LAN itself

Hi Nick,

From a firewall perspective allowing the Myriad3.exe through the firewall should do the trick. Beyond that i would suggest giving the support team a call or email directly. (+44 (0) 1482 350700, support@psquared.net)

Hope this helps,

John-Michael

Hi I have an evaluation of P Squared Myriad Monitor v3.6 to try out but I am trying to configure P Squared Myriad Anywhere v3.6 to remote connect to my myriad pc in the production office from home. Although we have other Myriad pc's I have the production one with it's Allow IP connections box ticked in myriad settings. We have a static IP address to the building but cannot connect, does anyone know which port or ports need to be forwarded or even a manual or forum link on this.....Thanks.  N.
