We are going to upgrade to Myriad - full version 3 and eventually version 4.

Do we need to upgrade the RAM to host v3 or 4?

Quite similar to what we have at RAdio Royal and our runs fine.  If you can get a bit more RAM it will pay dividends, we tend to run on 1024 however one of the machines is 512 and runs OK.  All PC's run Myriad only, nowt else.
