Sorry again, with the delay in responding. The version of Myriad is v3.6.2

I have since used the single audio for just single audio, and it is working at the moment.

I am using the Wizard now to import multiple tracks from a folder and this is working fine.

It may be something to do with the permissions on your network. You need to be logged on to the PC as an account that has full read and write permissions to the network drive that Myriad stores your audio and system files on. Strange that it works via the Wizard though and not when importing a single file.

3.5 or 3.6 both versions seem to crash with importing more than 49.
I wonder what version Penistone are using though ?

I have always found if you try to add more than 50 songs in Myriad OR Autotrak theres a 99% chance of it crashing,
I always import 49 at any one time, you only have 18 ? thats unusual, although I very rarely import 1 cart,
I normally use the wizzard or drop and drag a single import.

Keep us all updated please.

I have just tried another method of uploading instead of using SINGLE AUDIO file. I have used the Wizard, and selected the tracks from the folder I wish to upload.

It works fine and does not crash.

Any ideas why using the single audio transport file does not work?

If I use that last option, once Myriad crashes and then is re-opened, I can edit and save the file even though it tells me it is read only.

So the file appears to crash and shows READ ONLY. However you can edit it and save the cart. This is really odd.

I have been uploading songs onto Myriad, and have 18 separate songs to upload.

Each one is crashing with an error.

The first thing that happens is that after I select the first available free cart, and the song has nearly completed the upload, the carts all go into a sort of pixellated box for each cart.

Then Myriad crashes.

The only way is to close and re-open Myriad.

It seems to have uploaded the cart, which I can then edit and top and tail as normal.

When I edit it and save I get an error report that says the cart is read only, but it appears to save the cart anyway.

Any Ideas?
