Hi Roger,

Sorry to here of your stations financial problems which in turn are causing you to close the station after only two years of faithful full-time service to the community it serves, lets hope Ofcom look at the recent plight of many Community stations suffering from financial difficulties after so many grants have evaporated due to cut backs and get the Government to re-look seriously at the 50% advertising rule when it comes up for review in September as mentioned by Paul France within his reply to the Radio Today story.

However, we (Wayland Radio) hopes to return to the airwave, once we've re-grouped, with some RSL's next year.

I'll keep a watchful eye on proceeding here in the meantime.
