Hi Guys,

Having a bit of a pain with certain people deleting carts off the audiowall.

Is it possible to see when the cart was deleted and from what machine?

Regards

Robbie

you should be able to look in autotrak, display history log, its at the bottom of one of the drop down menus,
this will show you every move within myriad, who pressed what, if any failures occured and who deleted or imported carts.
take away the rights for those people deleting to stop this happening in the future too.

only allow users to delete their own areas, works well for me;-)
good luck !

You may also use Myriad Manager to display the history log for any day. From there you will be able to know who deleted your carts from your audiowall. Allocate your users personal carts and let each user only be able to overwrite their own carts. All the best.

Ive never used myriad manager in the 3 years we've had myriad, apart from once, when I setup RVt, thats because we found a bug,
autotraks user section didnt actually save the settings for allowing rvt users,
ran myriad manager, ticked the boxes and rvt worked.
I use autotrak for eveything else.

As Paul says, asigning each user a cart range and only allowing writing permisions to that cart range for that user is the way to go.

ie. paul 1500 - 1600 tom 1601 - 1700  etc this is easily set up under directory users and can restrict things like being able to change myriad settings etc.
