We've had our sustain PC for quite a few years and its starting to exhibit problems so Im looking to move it to a new server. Our sustain has both the Myriad playout and autotrack pro.

What I want to do is leave autotrack on the PC and move the playout to a new PC. How does autotrack know where to send the logs as the settings say autotrack does it automatically?

In Autotrack, there are 2 locations to check:

1) Myriad file locations - this tells AT where the audio is stored and other settings (including the Station Log Database)

2) Autotrack Program Settings - this tells AT where its Song and Link database is stored.

so if the system is using a server, you'll need to make sure the New Playout PC is pointing to the correct locations for it to work.
