When you have a cart window open and you click Start or play it loads the song into the Autorack player.

I generally do not need to listen to all the song whilst doing this activity, and quickly move on to the next cart window, at present you have to eject the current playing audio from the player before you can click start to load the next audio in.

As this activity is not broadcast critical, could it be made to automatically replace the current cart in the player when Start is pressed on a different song!

This is a small step but if you are doing this a lot then it would speed things up a bit.

Thanks

Darren

I'll 3rd it, you can use F8 (eject 2) to kill it which is also strange as it's cart 1...

Yep thats a good One. Was a pain when importing 6000 songs and having to keep clicking eject to play the next one!

Consider it Done in the next release :-)

Plus we've also added an additional little feature-ette, for those who use the Prev and Next buttons on a Song Card to walk up and down a search results. if you are listening to a Song/Link and click the Prev/Next, it will now automatically play you the freshly selected item making it much easier to set a lot of items details very quickly.

Hi Peter,

Does it play it from the start of the song or the middle like when you click on the 'characteristics' button or could you make that a user preference.

For me going through songs to set the tempo etc the middle would be better.

For now it just starts from the beginning - the problem is that if you click "Play" it plays from the start, the "Start" characteristic plays from about 1/4 through, the "End" Characteristic button plays from about 3/4 and the "Ends" button plays the ending.

The good bit is that you can just click on each button to have it jump to the bit you want so you can then control it much more finely.

We just have one classification for the whole song so normally hit the 'characteristics' button and then set from there. Is there any keyboard shortcuts to access these different playback positions as when I am head down getting through a list of songs it would be nice to be able to keep my hands on the keyboard

Hi Matt,

There is now (well, as of about 5 minutes ago at least!) it will be included in the next release Smile
