Question:

Some tracks in our A list have extra remixes that we play.

we tend to title them in autotrack like this

title

artist

remix name

Now i know that the extra field is another artist field and maybe we shouldnt put the name of the remix there but there isnt anywhere else to differentiate it from the radio edit.

so, example:

broken heels

alexandra burke

bimbo jones remix

broken heels

alexandra burke

radio edit

when we schedule these the artist seperation rules dont work and we sometimes end up with the same song but a different version too close to each other.

we have artist seperation rules set at 3 hours, song seperation at 3 hours and song title at 3 hours.

Now my thoughts are that as long as the title or artist are the same then the rules should stop the repeat ... am i wrong? and if i'm not wrong then this might be a bug classing the second artist name as part of the first.

any ideas lads?
