As you may already be aware, if you are an IRN subscriber,

IRN will be shortly be switching its news service from ITN to Sky.  The changeover will take place on Tuesday March 3rd with the last live bulletin coming from ITN at 13:00 and the first one from Sky at 14:00.

Most of the changes have taken place “under the bonnet“ and the service will appear substantially the same and continue to come to you in the normal way through your IRN equipment.

There should be no further configuration changes required to your Scoop Capture Software - if you use the DFD equipment or the IP delivery.

Please consult the changes document emailed to your station from John Perkins Managing Director of IRN for the details of the satellite feed changes.

It is also worth noting that from this date, all IRN bulletins will be only 2 minutes long so if you are using Myriad to take automated news, be sure to update your clocks accordingly (in AutoTrack, AutoTrack Pro or Selector).
