This would be a trivial question to answer if the machine was in front of me. However, it's 40 miles away, and I won't be anywhere near it for at least a week...

Our main Myriad playout system (hardware purchased from Psquared about 18 months ago) has a Gigabyte GBB36x raid controller. Not sure what size of drives, and how many, as the Gigabyte raid configurator application, will not start, although it appears in the start menu. However, there are 2 logical drives presented to windows - a 10Gb c: and a 223Gb d:

We need more space - the D: drive is now about 85% full.

Can someone from Psquared suggest how many physical drives, and what size, would already be in the machine, how many free bays there will be, and what spec of disk can be used to increase the capacity.

Bruce.

Hi Bruce,

Becuase each PC is often a custom build, the best thing to do is to raise this as a support ticket direct with us - if you email your request to support@psquared.net we can then track from here.

Thanks Smile
