Slowly but surely we are going through our entire myriad library of songs and adding text notes to everything, things like year of release, chart position and anything else that is useful. Originally we didn't bother as we wanted to just get the system up and running, all these years later... well work in progress!

The Problem:

Is there a way of standardising all fonts and sizes throughout these programs?

with the older 'original' songs on myriad, the notes are typed in on the fly by various people who do not have access to autotrack and then autotrack is updated with that info. The font is quite big

The newer stuff is put in autotrack when it is entered and myriad is updated. the font is quite small

It seems When cutting and pasting information from other resources, the font sizes and styles are all over the place depending on the resource. I don't seem to be able to find anywhere to set a standard size or alter the font/sizes within Myriad & Autotrack.

Hi Ricky,

That problem has been a bit of a recurring one over the years it has to be said - becuase of this Myriad v3.5 doesn't allow custom fonts in the notes field, and once we have the matching version of AutoTrack out then it won't either.

For now though i'm afraid there isn't an easy way of reformatting the notes. You could open the .RTF files in the Audiowall folder and manually reset the format, but obviously this would take a lot of work.

Alastair,

yes you can completely customise the size of the carts on the audiowall and the size of the font displayed. This customisation is per user logged into Myriad, so you'll need to change everyone that it is causing problems for.

In Myriad, goto the Tools Menu > Customise Myriad

Click on the Second button down "Audiowall"

Then on the right hand side "Navigation" Tab, you can change the width and height of the Cart display, next to that is a button with a "A" over a bit of paper, this will allow you to change the font properties.

When you click "OK" it will redraw the audiowall, so you might need to go thru the process a coupe of times to get the settings right.
