Just a quickie Smile

Will Myriad work properly with either of the new Echo Indigo cards (either DJ or I/O)? They have 4 virtual stereo outputs over 1 (or 2 in the DJ) stereo outs.

If we could get Myriad to work with this on a laptop rather than good old CD's it would make life a bit easier at roadshows.

Craig,

apologies no one has replied earlier than this. (we've all been a little preocupied with SBES).

There is no real way to know if the drivers will work correctly as we haven't got one to test (or a laptop spare to run the longterm tests on).

Echo are normally very good at getting fixes to their drivers, if a problem is discovered, and if they have based the cards on the same driver set as the Gina / Layla cards then they should work.

If anyone gets one we would be happy to hear if you have any issues.

Well I got one of these the other day.

So far so good, seem to work quite well with our backup copy of the Myriad Database on a USB hard drive.

Hardly ideal for a studio situation, however very handy for the ocassional roadshow.

Only thing to watch out for of course with only 2 physical outputs spread over 4 virtual outs is that you prefade on the right cart or it'll sound a bit rubbish Smile

Roadshows shouldn't be angry, they should be fun :-)

Will there be any CD giveaways or cream cracker eating competitions?
(I particularly liked it when we put squirty cream on the crackers, you might not be able to do that with risk assesments nowdays)

We've got a few X-Files VHS box sets to give away. Also some empty collection cans to fill with cash.

And lots of great tunes played out of Myriad
