Command to change play mode

I am sure I remember reading that there is a command to change the play mode of an hour part way through.  Am I imagining it or can I set that up in a clock and is there a place where I can find a list of commands?

a command along the lines of
LOG MODE LIVE
or
LOG MODE AUTOFADE

will be what you are looking for. You'll have to set this up as a 'Command' first, then you should be able to include it in the log.
