Something to add quickly. If you have the show is more than two parts, say for example for an advert break(s). Make sure only the last part that is to run into the news is set as song. If you set the other parts as song then it is likely to try and evenly chop the parts so if your recorded presenter does a link into the adverts, it may get faded.

Definitely something to watch! As an alternave though, if you are using AutoTrack Pro you can mark the first segment to be not-droppable and not-fadeable which will also stop it.

Heres what we have:

1 of our shows is pprerecordedas a 58 minute long show, I programme via autotrak Myriad to do nothing except the news either side of this show, then when the show arrives I import it and drop it into the schedule, if the show isn't exactly the right time, the absolute time goes out the window and the news comes on at the wrong time.

I think I need to A: get the show trimmed to exactly the right time or B: reschedule with this 1 hour show, then this may autofade at the correct time or C: cut the show in 2 halves so myriad has more than 1 item to autofade ??

or D: drop the prerecorded show !!

Any ideas?

Hi, This is great I had the same problem with the fade of the last track before absolute time then news jingle as this never faded out.
My sleepless nights are over.....Thanks. Smile

paul, the absolute time marker will only kick in if you have the shopw set as autofade rather than auto or live.

Yeah, we sorted it thanks, a simple right click to the front of the file in the schedule works a teat every time now !
PLUS the news is always on time.
