I have two new WinXP PC's running Myriad and both are giving the same problem with the audio output being about 12dB to high when the PC is first booted up and logged into Myriad. The Echo Darla 24 audio card software settings are set at -10dB and is running Ver 608 drivers. The audio drops back to the correct pre-set level only if you move the audio playback fader in the echo software down then back up to its original position, or if you eject the audio playing in the cart player, using the left mouse button, forcing myriad to fade the audio out. All following audio will play at the correct output for days with no problems but if someone re-starts the PC the high audio level returns. I do not get this problem on my Win 2000 machines........tried all the normal settings stuff and re-installing drivers but no luck! Anyone else had this problem?
