We have a show that has dry reads of events on various carts.  These are date restricted so they don't get played after the event has heppened and also if they are a long way ahead so they don't get played before a certain date. 

It seems that the date restrictions are not working.  The carts are in Autotrack as links.  Is there a rule somewhere that over rules date restrictions?

Hi Neil,
correct in AutoTrack professional there is a rule that needs to be added to each category that you want it applied to:
Hour/Date Restrictions (Song/Link Card)
Add the rule to one of your categories, then there is a button that allows you to copy it to all of the categories.

This can be treated as either a Rule (enforced) or Guide, to change how it is applied just double click on the rule in the list.
